“Foster parent turnover rates are high across the nation, frequently reaching 30 to 50% each year”
Our Response: The Village
Our Mission: Love and serve foster, adoptive and kinship families by providing a safe and Jesus-centered support community.
Why? Parents who foster and adopt need to know they’ll be well-supported when their children arrive
Village Ministry is a cross-church campus community group that aims to support, connect, and equip foster and adoptive families in their call to care for children in our communities.
Over the past year we’ve seen God moving through friendships, connections, meals delivered, children cared for, prayers sent up, meetings held, foster parents certified, and hearts and homes opened up to serve in the love of Jesus.
Join us on the last Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8 p.m. at Brook Baptist Church for dinner and fellowship.
If you or anyone you know is a foster/adoptive/kinship parent and would like to join the Village or if you are interested in fostering/adoption and want to come ask. Please fill out the form below, we would love to meet you!

“I would've quit fostering if it weren't for the Village.”
- FOSTER PARENT, VIRGINIA
This is how we know what love is; Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters…Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
1 John 3:16, 18-19

How Can I Support Foster + Adoptive Families?
